LADS Africa is honoured to announce the successful launch of the Citizen Engagement and Scoring Platform by His Excellency, President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, at a high-level national event attended by Government Ministers, Local Authority leaders, development partners, and other key stakeholders. The AI-powered platform, developed by LADS Africa, is designed to transform citizen participation in governance by providing a modern, data-driven channel through which citizens can evaluate service delivery, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of local governance across Zimbabwe. Among the notable moments of the event was the live demonstration of the platform by LADS Africa Director, Eng. T.T. Maposa, who had the opportunity to showcase the system's full functionality and operational capabilities to His Excellency the President and other distinguished guests. The demonstration provided an in-depth overview of how the platform captures citizen feedback, measures service delivery performance, generates actionable insights, and supports evidence-based decision-making through Artificial Intelligence. During the launch, President Mnangagwa commended the innovation and ingenuity of the young Zimbabwean developers behind the platform, noting its potential to generate valuable insights that can support policy formulation and enhance service delivery throughout the country. The President emphasized that the platform is not a fault-finding mechanism but a professional analytical tool that promotes constructive engagement between citizens and local authorities while strengthening accountability, transparency, and responsiveness. This milestone represents a significant achievement for LADS Africa and Zimbabwe's innovation ecosystem, demonstrating the power of locally developed technologies to address national challenges and contribute to the country's digital transformation agenda. As LADS Africa, we remain committed to developing innovative digital solutions that empower institutions, improve service delivery, and create lasting impact across communities. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Government of Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, the Harare Institute of Technology, local authorities, development partners, and all stakeholders whose support and collaboration made this achievement possible. Together, we are building smarter communities, strengthening citizen participation, and shaping the future of governance through innovation. #LADSAfrica #CitizenEngagementPlatform #DigitalTransformation #ArtificialIntelligence #SmartGovernance #InnovationForDevelopment #Zimbabwe #HITInnovation #ServiceDelivery
