We were honoured to host a delegation from ZIMRA at our office for an insightful tour and an official meeting to explore digital and innovative solutions aimed at enhancing revenue collection in alignment with the 2025 National Budget on the 11th of December 2024. During the visit, LADS Director, Eng. T.T. Maposa in the presence of Technical Operations Committee Chairperson Ms Mutsa Remba,  Commissioner General Mrs Regina Chinamasa, HIT Vice Chancellor Professor Q.C. Kanhukamwe and Technology Transfer Licensing and Commercialisation Centre,(TTLCC) Director Eng.L. Masiyazi delivered an engaging presentation highlighting cutting-edge tools designed to support ZIMRA’s strategic objectives. Among the solutions showcased was the Musiyamwa Mobile App, which offers user-friendly features to streamline tax processes and improve operational efficiency. The subsequent meeting provided a platform for in-depth discussions on implementing these innovative tools, marking a significant step toward leveraging technology for enhanced fiscal management and sustainable national development.

The delegation’s objective was clear and focused: to identify and explore innovative local solutions capable of significantly enhancing ZIMRA’s operational efficiency and strengthening the effectiveness of its revenue collection processes. This initiative underscores ZIMRA’s commitment to leveraging homegrown technologies to meet national fiscal goals and align with the 2025 National Budget’s vision for economic growth and sustainability.
