These are organisations that have defined LADS Africa .LADS Africa is a start-up under the Harare Institute of Technology, which is a state university under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education. LADS Africa works closely with the Local government and public works in transforming Zimbabwean local authorities.The government arms help in giving us policy direction.
Harare Institute of Technology produces highly qualified technical human capital that is creativity driven, project oriented, understand all stages of invention including idea generation and development and have the ability, stamina and courage to set up high-tech enterprises.
Ministry of Local Government and Public Works promotes sound local governance, undertake and coordinate rural and urban development to enhance the socio-economic development of Zimbabwe.
Ministry of ICT transforms Zimbabwe through use of information and communication technologies into a knowledge based society so as to enhance the country’s competitiveness in the world in order to stimulate and sustain economic growth.
The Ministry is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies related to skills training and development and the promotion of Science, Technology and Innovation.
These organisations have and continue to play a pivotal role in funding LADS initiatives. CLGF were the initial funders of the project and have so far assisted more than 20 local authorities in taking up our ERP.
